Each year at the end of the summer our neighborhood throws a big party. It was also a celebration for the new park that was installed earlier in the summer. We love the new park equipment, and I finally feel like it is safe enough for my little kids to play on. The old one had major flaws with all kinds of openings up high. This was the first year that we didn't have plans on the Saturday that it was held, and we were able to attend. The kids loved the bounce house, and Jacob sure enjoyed his strawberry soda and red popsicle! We had already eaten lunch but soon learned that we could have enjoyed a hot dog and chip lunch at the party. Next year we will have to remember, but the kids did get to enjoy a pop and a frozen treat.
