Pictures

I am replacing some of the pictures in the frames in the playroom and over my bed. I needed a picture of all three of the kids to put in one of the frames. And it just so happened that everyone was in a good mood, and I was able to get a good shot. What a miracle! Here is one that I took of Benjamin as well.

Sock Puppets

Benjamin made a dragon and Emma made a girl sock puppet today during our project time.
Benjamin tried his hand at stitching the red wing on but got poked pretty bad with the needle. Then it was up to me to do the rest of the hand stitching.

Last Day of Kindergarten

I made a video of lots of pictures of kindergarten and all the children saying what their favorite thing about kindergarten was. I took in the DVD to watch with the class today. They all seemed to love it. It was a lot of work, but I know that his teacher really appreciated it. Benjamin and his teacher Here are pictures of the teacher gift that Benjamin gave to his teacher
and to his bus driver.

Friday June 10th

Stephen attended graduation~ I was going through some old pictures and saw a picture of Benjamin with Stephen in his robes when he was about 3. I wanted the other two kids to have a picture with Dad in his robes too.
Benjamin had field day at his school. The first thing the class did was run laps on the track. Benjamin worked really hard to run. He and only one other boy ran 6 times around. I told him later that he had determination! Then in the afternoon the school field was set up with different stations and the children could freely choose to go to any station manned by parents and teachers. The children could choose to be at the station as long or as little as they would like; I love that his school is so developmentally appropriate!
Being a mouse under the parachute in the cat and mouse game.
They had music playing throughout the afternoon and every class was assigned a different song for their teacher to go under the "dome" and get squirted by their own class. It was definitely the highlight of the field day for all the children. They each loved getting their teacher wet.

Garden Update

Here is our garden. We planted beans, sugar snap peas at the back, cucumbers, shallots, herbs, and lettuce in the front.
Here is the tomato garden. We have five different bushes of tomatoes. The cherry bush is starting to blossom. We are praying we get at least a few.
