Happy Halloween from Captain Hook . . .
Peter Pan
My plan was to do a lot more fun Halloween things, but I threw out my back on Saturday and was completely down for two days and I wasn't able to do what I had planned at all for Halloween. I have learned that some years are like that and to just roll with it. Since I hurt so badly, I was just grateful to be able to walk to a few houses to trick-or-treat with my kiddos. We had dinner of jack-o-lantern pizza (Papa Murphy's) with salad and then snapped a few quick pictures. The new camera was on a weird setting so the pictures aren't as great as I would have liked them to be as we were leaving to trick-or-treat, but they do document the event.

Erin (I visit teach her) and her daughter Leona came over to have dinner and trick-or-treat with us. Her husband had to work until late so he wasn't able to make it.
It was a bit chaotic trying to get out the door and it took forever ~ probably because I wasn't much help.
Finally out trick-or-treating!

Benjamin loved handing out the candy to the trick-or-treaters while Dad put the little ones to bed and then he got to head back out with Dad to get a few more houses.
