Benjamin had a little procedure done at Children's Hospital on Friday, February 20th. We were lucky enough that the valium made him very mellow, and it could be done during two office visits instead of the operating room. We are glad that we lucked out of that copay! He was so good and just watched the movie Dumbo the entire time. The nurse even commented that "he is one of those kids that you just want to take home with you." After the procedure was finished they offered Benjamin a stuffed animal to take home. He chose a pink bear and then said "I'm going to give this to my baby sister." The nurse was definitely surprised by his answer and then asked him if he wanted to choose another one for himself. He chose a green kitty. I am so proud of my big boy. I know that there has been an adjustment for him, but I also know how selfless he can be for baby sister. Oh how I love my Benjamin!

6th Anniversary
We celebrated our 6th wedding anniversary by leaving the kids with my mom and heading out for lunch. Some friends had tried a sushi place awhile ago that we always drive by, but we had never eaten at. It was a "conveyor belt" sushi restaurant. The sushi chefs made the rolls in the middle and then sent it off on a conveyor belt that passed by all the tables and the bar. I had been craving sushi all through my pregnancy but didn't eat it because of all the warnings. We did make it at home once with thoroughly cooked crab meat, and it was delicious. The sushi at this place was fabulous with both of our favorites being the tempura shrimp roll. It was great because Stephen could get his rolls spicy, and I could get what I wanted. We weren't gone for very long, but it was great to get out just the two of us and be able to just talk together.

Captain Underpants!
Nana, Benjamin, and I went shopping last Saturday while Stephen was home with Emma. My mom commented that she thought that Benjamin needed some new underwear so we hit the outlet mall. Benjamin was so excited about these dinosaur beauties that they became a new hat for the evening!

First Sunday at Church
Here are a few pictures of Emma's first Sunday at church. She slept the entire Sacrament Meeting, and then Nana, Benjamin, and I brought her home. She wore a newborn size dress that was a bit snug~ good thing that I found it at the quarter sale at our local thrift store.
