Bye Bye Binkie

We noticed on vacation that all of Jacob's binkies had holes in them.  We even gave him new ones and within a few days they were almost completely chewed through and pretty dangerous.  We decided that when we got home it was time to give up the binkies because of the risk that he would chew it completely off and choke.  Tonight is our first night without it.  He only cried for a few minutes tonight and then all has been quiet.  I am praying that he is not up all night for this learning curve to happen.

Edit:  Three days have past and we are completely binkie free.  He only cried the first night and the first two days of naps without it.  It was so much less painless that I anticipated.  HOORAY!
