Benjamin's weeding
Benjamin is desperately trying to earn money for an ipod. He is very into weeding to earn money. At first our deal was 5cents a weed, but then when he could pull enough to earn like $5.00 in one hour it got lowered to $2.00 an hour. Here he is with his cub scout quarter collection but we took it apart to add it to his now growing savings account for the ipod.

Kate is earning up to buy an American Girl doll and accessories. That's around $130 -- definitely the most expensive thing she's tried to earn up yet. Since we live in Moscow, though, she's earning up the money in rubles, which comes to around 4,000 rubles. That makes it sound so overwhelming, doesn't it? The amount hasn't phased her though. I even wondered if she might get bored with saving, but no way! She has been so focused, and such a huge help to me, especially since I recently had another surgery.
