Nana and Papa Visit

Stephen had a conference to go to in New Orleans (he will need to post his pictures of that event- HINT HINT) so I convinced my parents to come up and stay with me while he was gone.  It was a good thing too because I ended up with shingles.  I caught it really early and got medication so it wasn't horrible but my body still didn't feel very well and had no energy to do anything.  I was literally in bed Monday, Tuesday and most of Wednesday morning.  They were here Wednesday afternoon through early this morning when they left to drive all the way to the summer cottage at the lake in Illinois.  Stephen was gone for the conference from super early on Friday until late Sunday night.  While they were here we stayed pretty close to home (because when I did start to feel better I cleaned out the garage with my dad and threw out my back- when it rains it pours) but the kids did have a fun time.  Papa had a sleepover in the tent one night, took the kids to Costco for hot dogs, and had the kids help him take Oscar their dog for a walk every evening after dinner.  On Saturday my mom and I head to a wild neighborhood garage sale but really we just took care of kiddos here at home.  Thanks for coming Nana and Papa.  We had a great visit!
