School BBQ and Field Day

 Benjamin's school had a BBQ and Field day the last Friday before school was out.  Dad even took off of work for the afternoon to attend.  The fire department came and gave out hats and let the children sit in the engine.  After the lunch recess, Benjamin went back to his class for awhile, and we set off for him to put the little ones down for a nap.  Emma took a short nap, which left her a bit grumpy,  and she and I headed back to school to catch the field day fun.  It sure was a great day and the weather cooperated as well which it hasn't been doing lately so everything was fabulous!

This is as close as Jacob would get to the fire truck!

Squirting with water

Benjamin digging in the sand to find pennies.  This activity was his favorite!

Emma and her friend Hannah danced to YMCA and got squirted with the hose.  She was finally happy by this time.
