Benjamin's Fishing Field Trip

Benjamin went to a U-Fish pond and caught his very own rainbow trout. I unfortunately couldn't accompany him on the field trip, but I did get a report from his teacher about Benjamin's fascination with the fish gutting process. She told me she thought Benjamin was going to be a doctor. On Saturday night Stephen pan fried the trout. We knew it would have lots of bones, but we weren't prepared for how many teeny tiny ones there would be. Benjamin ate the most fish as I dug through every bit for the bones. Then Stephen ended up getting a small bone lodged in his throat that took two days to go down. It is a whopper of a fish tale!

He is quite the little fisherman! :) Glad to hear that the bone finally moved from Stephen's throat! :)
